23 UFL Players Earn NFL Opportunities Following 2026 Season
The United Football League continues to serve as a pathway to the NFL, with 23 players signing contracts since the spring season ended. The Detroit Lions lead all teams with four UFL additions, while the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints have each signed three. Wide receivers account for 10 of the 23 signings.

Albert Breer Questions NFL’s Handling of Brendan Sorsby
Breer believes the NFL’s decision not to hold a supplemental draft raises bigger questions than just Sorsby’s future. “It really almost brings the business structure of the league into question,” Breer said, noting Sorsby has “nowhere else to go.” While stopping short of certainty, Breer added, “Do I think the NFL wanted to make a statement on gambling? Absolutely.”
