3-Time NPB All-Star RHP Tatsuya Imai and Astros Agree on Three-Year Deal

As per the three-year $54M deal, Tatsuya can earn $3M in incentives if he throws 100 innings in 2026. If he does, his base salary becomes $21M in 2027 and 2028, making the contract effectively worth up to $63M. The 27-year-old threw 163⅔ innings with a career-best 1.92 ERA and 178 strikeouts in 2025 with the Saitama Seibu Lions.
