49ers Sign Veteran Safety Ashtyn Davis to One-Year Deal

49ers signed Davis to a one-year deal, waiving RB Jermar Jefferson in a corresponding move. Davis, a former third-round pick of the Jets in 2020, spent last season with the Dolphins, starting 12 of 15 games and recording 63 tackles, one interception, and one forced fumble. In 84 career games, Davis has totaled 217 tackles, nine interceptions, and five forced fumbles.
