76ers Pick Up $4.4 Million Option on Jared McCain

76ers exercised their third-year team option, per league sources. McCain averaged 15.3 points while shooting 46% from the field and 38.3% from deep in 23 games as a rookie. McCain suffered a meniscus tear in December 2024 and missed the entire season. He later suffered a UCL in his thumb and will return on November 8.
