76ers Were Reportedly Ready to Dump Paul George Before Jaylen Brown Trade
Before acquiring Jaylen Brown, the 76ers were reportedly willing to attach draft compensation to move Paul George's contract, according to Kirk Goldsberry. “They were trying to [dump Paul George’s contract]... and the cost, from what I heard, was one solid first-round pick,” Goldsberry said. Instead, the 76ers were able to get back Brown, in what was a bargain trade.
