“I'm not going to make any emotional decisions,” Rodgers said when asked if he would retire following the Steelers’ 30-6 loss to the Texans. The QB threw two interceptions, which cost the Steelers 14 points. His second game this season without a touchdown in a Steelers loss left fans frustrated. One fan even shouted, “Aaron, retire,” as he headed back to the locker room.

Vikings GM Won’t Commit to J.J. McCarthy as 2026 QB1
Asked if J.J. McCarthy will be the Vikings' QB1 in 2026, GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah stopped short. “I want the Vikings to achieve our goals,” he said, adding McCarthy has “the character and ability,” but committing “binds us into a certain area.” McCarthy had an injury-filled 2025 season, throwing for 11 TDs, 12 INTs, while ranking 40th in passer rating.
