Adam Schefter, Mike Florio Clash Over Carnell Tate’s 40-Yard Dash Time

Ohio State WR Carnell Tate was officially clocked at 4.52 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. But ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported several NFL executives hand-timed him between 4.45–4.47. Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio questioned the discrepancy and suggested agent influence. Schefter responded by posting screenshots, writing, “Just to prove you wrong again.”
