AJ Styles Confirms Retirement Next Year, Plans to Leave WWE on His Own Terms

During WWE Crown Jewel’s kickoff show, Styles announced, “2026, I will retire,” saying he wants to leave the ring “with pride” before age catches up. “I’m getting old, folks,” he added. “The fear of embarrassing myself is getting closer… it’s time to take care of my family.” Now tied 2–2 in their rivalry, Styles faces John Cena on Oct. 11.
