Bhatia’s Arnold Palmer Invitational win came with strange numbers: he hit just 27 fairways, the fewest ever by a Bay Hill champion, and still won in a playoff. The difference was elite recovery and putting. He ranked first in strokes gained around the green and putting, gaining 10.6 strokes on the greens, after earlier playoff wins in 2023 and 2024.
