Alabama is expected to hire Derrick Nix as its new receivers coach, according to Pete Nakos. Nix brings extensive SEC experience, previously coaching at Ole Miss and Auburn, where he served as offensive coordinator and RB coach. A former Southern Miss standout, Nix has coached in the SEC since 2008 and is regarded as one of the nation’s top assistant coaches.
