Alabama Hiring Richard Owens as Tight Ends Coach

Louisville offensive line coach Richard Owens is being hired as Alabama’s tight ends coach, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Owens informed Louisville he’s departing for Tuscaloosa. A former Louisville tight end (1999-2003), Owens later played four NFL seasons with the Vikings. His coaching stops include UAB and Georgia Southern before returning to Louisville in 2023 as OL coach.
