Aldon Smith’s Friend Tried His Best to Save His ‘Unresponsive’ Buddy

Smith spent part of the day delivering pizzas to a Bay Area homeless outreach group with friend Amir Shirazi. "After returning to Los Gatos, I found Smith unresponsive in a pickup truck and quickly called 911," he said. Former RB Anthony Dixon also assisted in lifesaving efforts. Smith was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at age 36.
