Alexei Ramírez Pops Up Again On Cuba’s WBC Radar, Per Francys Romero

“Ramírez is on Cuba’s preliminary roster” for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, per sources, Romero reported. The 44-year-old spent nine MLB seasons and played the inaugural 2006 WBC in Puerto Rico at 24. If he makes the final cut, it would complete a 20-year WBC return. Romero also listed notably Paolo Espino (Panama) and Shairon Martis (Netherlands).
