Alfred Dunhill Cuts to 54 Holes After Johannesburg Deluge

Flooding at Royal Johannesburg Club forced third-round suspensions Saturday and turned the par-5 sixth into a 177-yard par 3. Tournament director David Williams said the course was “unplayable… very quickly,” so the Alfred Dunhill Championship will end at 54 holes. Spain’s Eugenio Chacarra leads by two. Play restarts Sunday at 6:30 a.m. local; finish targeted by 12:30, with more rain forecast.
