Ali Abdelaziz Says Islam Makhachev’s July Fight Is a ‘Done Deal’

Abdelaziz says Makhachev already has his first welterweight title defense lined up. “Islam already has a fight in the summer against the No.1 contender,” he said, before adding, “It’s a done deal.” He also revealed, “Islam got offered a different fight at welterweight,” but pushed for July because of “a hand injury.” Makhachev won the welterweight belt from JDM at UFC 322.
