Analyst Slams Red Sox For Playing Small Around Luxury Tax Despite Huge Revenues

Tyler Milliken highlighted Sean McAdam’s report that Boston is willing to cross the first CBT line at $244 million in 2026 but reluctant to push further. He noted going over cost them only about $1 million in 2025 and estimates $574 million in 2024 revenue, arguing there’s no excuse not to spend toward the $264–284 million range.
