Andrade El Idolo Says WWE Added 'Non-Compete' Only After AEW Debut

Andrade claims WWE only enforced a one-year non-compete clause after he resurfaced in AEW. “At first, I didn’t have a clause. I could fight leaving WWE. Then the clause came when they saw me debut in AEW,” he said. WWE released Andrade in September. Andrade was planning to make a return to AEW in October when WWE activated the clause.
