Andrew Vaughn Needs Surgery After Opening Day Hand Fracture

Vaughn fractured his left hamate on Opening Day and will need surgery, Adam McCalvy reported. The injury is expected to sideline the Brewers' first baseman for four to six weeks, dealing Milwaukee an early blow in the middle of its lineup. Vaughn was one of the club’s key offseason additions and now faces an immediate recovery setback.
