Reese reached 1,000 career rebounds by saving Allisha Gray’s miss and scoring on the putback, becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to hit the mark. She did it in her 79th game, surpassing Tina Charles, who needed 89. The milestone adds to Reese’s elite rebounding resume after entering Thursday averaging 12.7 boards for her career.
