Reese reacted to her trade with a tweet saying “An Angel’s DREAM,” after Chicago sent the two-time All-Star to Atlanta for the Dream’s 2027 and 2028 first-round picks, plus swap rights in 2028. The move follows a turbulent 2025 season: ESPN reported her relationship with the Sky became strained after public criticism of the roster.
