Angels Give Samy Natera First Major League Call
The Angels selected Natera after he went 5-0 with a 3.00 ERA at Triple-A this season. The left-hander struck out 44 batters in just 30 innings for Salt Lake. He replaces Anderson on the roster after being designated for assignment. The 26-year-old has 271 strikeouts across 192.2 minor league innings since being drafted in 2022.
