Angels Sign Veteran Taijuan Walker Two Months After Phillies Release

Walker had previously opted out of a non-roster deal with LA on Monday, but after exploring options, returned to the organization. The 2021 All-Star began the season with the Phillies, but after a 1-4 record and a 9.13 ERA over 22 1/3 innings, was released in April. The Angels(27-42) rank 26th in pitching in MLB with a 4.68 team ERA.
