He has been sidelined with ligament damage in his left hand and was reevaluated this week by Dr. Steven Shin of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is progressing as expected and will be reassessed in two weeks, per Marc Stein.

Late in the third quarter, Doncic sank an unbelievable step-back 3-pointer off the glass. It kept the Lakers in the game, and gave them hope going into the 4th quarter. However, Doncic's incredible shot couldn't help the Lakers get a win, succumbing to the Nuggets 120-113. Doncic dropped 27 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in the losing effort.
