Davis said it wasn't that he wouldn't play the 5 at all, he didn't want to do it for the entire season. He explained that playing the 5 "is more wear and tear on your body." Davis won't need to play much center with Derek Lively and Daniel Gafford but is open to it when neither is on the floor.
