Anthony Edwards Broke the NBA's Baseline Sprint Record at His Draft Workout

During his 2020 draft workout with the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards ran baseline-to-baseline in 2.75, breaking the known NBA record of 2.87, per Jon Krawczynski. Minnesota's staff did not believe the stopwatch and made him do it twice more after a grueling 50-minute session. He clocked 2.75 and 2.80 again. He was selected No. 1 overall weeks later.
