2 years after Garnett called Brunson the "the most impactful free-agent since K.D.," Irwin has spoken in Lebron's defense. He said, "LeBron signed with the Lakers at their lowest point and won a title two years later." Brunson took the Knicks to the ECF this year, but Irwin believes LeBron's 2020 championship trumps that. He said, "Winning has to matter."
