Are NFL Referees Full-Time Employees?

Despite the NFL's $20B revenue, referees remain part-time workers with reports indicating that about 120 officials juggle day jobs. The NFL does pay officials well, however, with them earning $205K–$250K annually and per-game pay ranging from $5K–$13K, with $30K–$50K for the Super Bowl. As per the league, a model change isn't needed as long as the current structure works well.
