Ariel Helwani Backs Michael Chandler After Dana White Overlooks Him for McGregor Fight

“Remarkable, really,” Helwani said after White again ruled out Chandler for McGregor’s White House card saying, “That’s not the fight we’re going with.” Helwani noted the bout was agreed “three years ago,” after TUF aired, booked for June 2024 (UFC 303), then scrapped by McGregor injury. He added Chandler never complains, kept promoting, and now has it “snatched away,” after waiting patiently.
