Tsarukyan dominated former UFC flyweight Mokaev in Wednesday’s Hype Brazil main event, finishing the submission-only match with a first-round rear-naked choke in Rio de Janeiro. The late booking replaced Georgio Poullas after a withdrawal. Mokaev had pitched the bout as a path back to UFC. Instead, Tsarukyan extended his strong grappling run and handed him a setback outside MMA.
