Arrest Costs Zachariah Branch Over $2M in NFL Draft Slide

The Falcons selected Branch with the 79th overall pick in the third round. He is projected to earn roughly $5.9 million over four years. Branch was arrested days before the draft for misdemeanor obstruction after refusing to clear a sidewalk. Originally a projected second-rounder worth nearly $8 million, the slip to Round 3 potentially cost him over $2 million.
