Art Rooney II Hints Family Played Key Role in Mike Tomlin’s Exit

In his first presser following Tomlin’s exit, Steelers President Art Rooney II revealed that Mike’s decision was “probably more of a family-related decision than a football-related decision.” Rooney declined to go further, saying he wanted to leave it up to Tomlin to explain exactly what factors led to his departure, while adding he was fully prepared to have Mike coach another season.
