Astros Pivot to Michael Conforto as Isaac Paredes Trade Path Fades

Brian McTaggart reported that Houston have shown interest in free-agent outfielder Conforto, with their chances of trading for Paredes “diminishing.” The 32-year-old lefty bat hit .199/.305/.333 with 12 homers and 36 RBIs in 128 games for the Dodgers last season. If Houston can’t land Paredes at third, Conforto could become a cheaper way to add offense and lineup balance.
