“I’ve never felt so helpless in all my life,” said Cindric after a power steering failure at Bristol snatched a win away. “I was bending the steering wheel in my hands,” he said, looking back. Into the lead and 5 laps into a 40-lap run, the failure occurred, forcing Cindric to relinquish the lead merely six laps from the finish.
