Austin Reaves Could Command $40 Million Per Year in Free Agency
Dan Woike and Sam Amick of The Athletic report "the door for Reaves to walk is open should he get a big offer elsewhere," with rival executives predicting he could command $40 million a season given "a free-agent class completely devoid of players as productive as him in their prime." Reaves averaged a career-high 23.3 points this season.

Johnson said the Lakers made a mistake calling LeBron the third option behind Austin Reaves. "Number two is one thing, he can look at Luka and see that Luka is going to be unbelievable," Johnson said, arguing that putting LeBron after Reaves was a joke.
