Australian Open Adds Blind, Low-Vision Event to Official Program

The Australian Open will become the first Grand Slam to integrate a Blind and Low Vision invitational into its official tournament schedule, Michal Samulski reported. The event runs Jan. 31–Feb. 1. The AO will also stage its 4th Intellectual Disability and Deaf Tennis Slam from Jan. 30–Feb. 1, expanding inclusive competition alongside the main draw in Melbourne.
