Aviators Lay New Sod At Las Vegas Ballpark Ahead Of Feb. 27 Classic

Triple-A Aviators began laying 97,500 square feet of new sod at Las Vegas Ballpark on Wednesday, a three-day job. The grass debuts Feb. 27-March 1 at the Live Like Lou Las Vegas College Baseball Classic with Arizona, Oregon, UC Irvine and Vanderbilt. MLB’s Big League Weekend follows March 7-8: Athletics vs. Angels. Home opener is March 27.
