Griffin said Baron once pulled up to practice in “this old-school drop-top Cadillac.” Having just agreed to the dunk contest, he thought, “I wonder if I could jump over that thing.” NBA stepped in: “Kia is the official sponsor.” Afterward, Griffin laughed, “Guys, nobody has ever tried to jump over a hood before.” He went on to win the contest.
