Neuer has his current contract with Bayern till June. "We will sit down and talk calmly. If Manuel feels ready for it, I wouldn’t know what would speak against him doing it for one more year," said sporting director Max Eberl. The 40-year-old joined Bayern from Schalke in 2011 and has won 13 Bundesliga titles and two Champions Leagues.
