Bears Fans Start Petition to Keep Chicago as Home Stadium Site

“Chicago has been home to the Bears for a long time. This city needs this team and stadium for morale, unity, and economic support,” the petition read. Earlier, the Indiana House Ways and Means Committee unanimously approved a plan (Senate Bill 27) to create the Northwest Indiana Stadium Authority for the stadium. “The Bears are a symbol of our city's strength and resilience,” the petition added.
