Bears Sign Backup QB Tyson Bagent to Two-Year Extension
Bagent has signed a $10 million extension, with incentives pushing it to $16 million. The 25-year-old, undrafted from Shepherd University, has been the Bears' backup since 2023. HC Ben Johnson seemed ecstatic with the extension: "Man, he's been phenomenal, smart as a whip... I appreciate his seriousness and intent". Despite Keenum’s arrival, he remains QB2 behind Caleb Williams.
