Patriots rookie QB Behren Morton shared a humorous exchange with starting QB Drake Maye during training camp. “I told Drake that he and I had a little Drew Bledsoe/Tom Brady type thing going on,” Morton said. Maye quickly shut it down, replying with a blank stare: “You’re Brian Hoyer at best.” The joke drew laughs as Morton embraced his backup role.
