Bengals Legend and NBC Broadcaster Bob Trumpy Passes Away at 80

Former Bengals tight end and broadcaster Bob Trumpy has died at 80. A four-time Pro Bowler, Trumpy recorded 298 catches for 4,600 yards and 35 touchdowns from 1968–77 for Cincinnati. He later called four Super Bowls and three Olympics for NBC. “Bob was an exceptional and rare tight end,” said Bengals president Mike Brown. Cause of death was not disclosed.
