Bill Simmons Says LaMelo Ball’s “Arrogance, in a Good Way” Fuels Late-Game Confidence

On his pod, Simmons said watching Ball lately has been “the most fun” because of an “arrogance, in a good way,” especially late in games. He compared it to Carmelo Anthony believing he belonged with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, and to Paul Pierce’s Boston swagger. Simmons said that self-belief gives Charlotte “energy and confidence” offensively.
