Bill Simmons Sparks Debate by Claiming Austin Reaves’ Start Trumps Any Paul Pierce Season
Simmons acknowledged Reaves' great start to the season, pointing out that he's averaging 27ppg, 8apg and 4rpg through 12 games. He went as far as saying, "Austin Reaves' stats were better than any Paul Pierce season, for the first 12 games." Pierce averaged 26.8ppg, 4.7apg and 6.7 in 2005-06, which was arguably his best statistical year.
