Billie Jean King Says Women’s Tennis Lacks Star Rivalries Seen in Men’s Game

King praised the WTA’s depth but told CNBC Sport the women’s game misses enduring rivalries. “People like a sense of certainty… we’ve usually had at least two. Like Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova — 80 times they played,” she said. By contrast, she noted men’s tennis has Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. “I’d like to see the women have that.”
