Bills Cut Veteran CB Taron Johnson Amid Cap Crunch

The Buffalo Bills are releasing longtime slot corner Taron Johnson as they work to get under the salary cap. Johnson, a 2018 fourth-round pick, started 87 games during Buffalo’s recent playoff run. A post–June 1 designation could save the Bills about $8.67 million in cap space ahead of the 2026 season. Johnson was recently called one of the most underrated players in the NFL by Aaron Rodgers.
