Bills Hire Former Safety Jim Leonhard as Defensive Coordinator

The Bills officially hired Jim Leonhard as their DC on Saturday. A former Bills safety, Leonhard, returns to Buffalo to serve under new head coach Joe Brady, who was promoted after the firing of Sean McDermott. Leonhard joins the Bills after two seasons with the Broncos, where he most recently served as the assistant head coach and defensive pass game coordinator in 2025.
