Blue Jays Make 57-Year World Series Inning History in Sixth vs. Dodgers

Nine runs in the sixth made Toronto’s first World Series since 1993 truly historic, the most in a Series inning since the 1968 Detroit Tigers’ 10-run third. Addison Barger’s pinch-hit grand slam blew it open, and the Blue Jays won 11-4 to lead 1-0. Trey Yesavage struck out five in four; the bullpen fanned eight despite Shohei Ohtani’s two-run shot.
