Boxing’s Youngest Male Champion Abdullah Mason Embraces Big Moment

Mason became the WBO lightweight champion at 21 after outlasting Noakes in a Saudi firefight, making him boxing’s youngest active male titleholder. He said he’s “soaking it all in” after going 12 rounds, calling Noakes “pretty sturdy” and the bout “his fight.” Mason outlanded him 214-152 and won by scores of 115-113, 115-113 and 117-111 on the night.
