Boxing Star Ruben Castillo Passes Away After Battle With Cancer

Castillo, 68, known as the Conquistador, died on Wednesday in Beaumont, California. The featherweight fighter began his pro boxing career in 1975. Over the years, he fought in four world championship bouts, taking on Hall of Famers Julio César Chávez, Salvador Sanchez, Alexis Arguello, and Juan Laporte. He retired in 1997 with a 67-10 (37 KOs) record.
